CONSTRUCTION AND OTHER SERVICES

Design Works is a full-service Interior Design firm with access to many direct resource providers. It is not a contractor licensed by the California Contractors State License Board. The scope of our design work may contemplate certain construction, such as painting, tile, carpeting, etc. In such event, you will directly hire contractors to perform such work. We will work with the contractors you hire to ensure that the design intent is met, but in no way will such work constitute our “supervision” of their work. We know many excellent contractors and at your request will refer you to good ones. By doing so, however, we make no legal guarantee with respect to their work – any such guarantee can only be between you and the contractor. We are not liable in any way for the work of third parties, including those we refer to you.

installation

As part of our services, we include a complete installation of all furniture, rugs and accessories specified for your project. This also includes accessorizing your entire home on the day of installation. Design Works requests that clients not be not present at the time of installation. Upon completion of the install, Design Works will ask the clients to return for the final walk through.
